Tunas Auction: one application, web & mobile

Problem

Buyers need to move from finding a vehicle to joining a live auction. Separate web and mobile frontends meant maintaining those journeys in more than one place.

Solution

A shared Flutter frontend for vehicle listings, auction schedules, registration, sign-in, deposits, bidding permits (NIPL), and live auction sessions.

My role

Maintained the earlier Nuxt website and worked on the transition to a shared Flutter frontend, including buyer accounts and the live bidding experience.

Technical challenge

Live bidding brings timing, validation, and account eligibility into the same interface. The buyer journey needs to make the current state clear while supporting web and mobile from the same codebase.

Result

The frontend now shares a Flutter codebase across web, Android, and iOS, bringing the buyer journey into one implementation.
